Men's Fashion Bloggers We Admire
These men's fashion bloggers get the Ferrecci USA stamp of approval! There are hundreds of menswear blogs out there, but these are a few that stood out to us. We took factors into consideration including style, following, likability, content, photography and overall dapperness. We included some bigger names, as well as some that we believe are up-and-coming.
1) BRIGHT.BAZAAR
Bright.Bazaar was founded in 2009 by Will Taylor, a self-proclaimed "gentleman hooked on hue". Bright.Bazaar is a highly-recognized blog known for its colorful inspiration for home, travel and fashion. Of course, it's the fashion category that caught our attention. Will's blog posts span from helpful tutorials ("Bright.Style No.6: How To Wear Primary Brights") to a detailed retell of what he wore to a J.Lo concert in Vegas. Will seems to be a big fan of yellow -- we'd love to see how he'd style our mod suit.
2) STYLE GIRLFRIEND
Style Girlfriend is a men's fashion blog written from a female perspective. Now that's unique! Style Girlfriend was started in 2012 by Megan Collins. We love Style Girlfriend's blog because it isn't targeted towards the rich and beautiful, as many fashion blogs seemingly are. Here's an excerpt from SG's bio page: "Our readers are guys living in big cities and small towns, dads with two kids and a mortgage and undergrads getting by on a ramen noodle budget". Collins' blog is designed to help men dress well and feel confident, while working within their budget.
3. WHAT MY BOYFRIEND WORE
What My Boyfriend Wore started off as exactly what it sounds like. Sergio Ines' girlfriend of the time started photographing his outfits, and created an Instagram account dedicated to them. Now, Sergio runs a full-blown blog with the same name. What My Boyfriend Wore is targeted towards fashion for "normal men", according to Sergio.
The blog includes outfit-of-the-day posts and fashion tips, but also includes travel photos, bar reviews, fashion-related inspirational quotes under the label "Dapper Dexterity" and more. It's like a having a gentleman's handbook, right in your browser.
4. TRENDSTYLED
TrendStyled, aka Saul Carrasco, is a Texas native now working both in LA and NYC as a men's fashion and lifestyle blogger. TrendStyled's imagery balances urban scenery with relaxed clothing, while Saul's down-to-earth captions makes the reader's experience feel personal. TrendStyled doesn't just show you what to wear -- it shows you where to wear it.
5. THE BESPOKE DUDES
The Bespoke Dudes should be called "The Bespoke Dude" instead, because it's mostly just one dude! The blog was founded in 2012 by Fabio Attanasio with the goal of informing readers about the tailoring and craftsmanship behind artisanal clothing. His outfit photos often incorporate classic menswear items, such as textured blazers and pocket squares galore. A unique aspect of this blog is that it has a podcast, having released its first episode last month.
7. THE SCOTT EFFECT
The Scott Effect is a menswear and lifestyle blog based out of LA created by the ever-fashionable Blake Scott. Blake focuses on suits, formal accessories and staple pieces, giving his blog a consistent polished effect...see what we did there? If anybody could rock our Preston plaid check blazer, it'd be Blake.
8. I AM MAN CHIC
I Am Man Chic is a blog focusing on menswear, lifestyle, travel and the LGBT community. "I Am Man Chic" is run by Jorge Gallegos, a Mexican stylist and creative director. We admire Jorge's blog for its trend reporting and bold looks. His blog post "Man In White" reminds us of one of our favorite Ferrecci pieces: our white Zonettie slim fit suit.
